Why a CA firm, not DIY

The difference shows up when it matters

A cheap audit that just signs off teaches you nothing. A real audit surfaces control weaknesses, catches errors and produces financials banks and investors actually trust.

We explain findings in plain language rather than handing you a report you cannot act on.

Questions

Frequently asked

Which businesses need a statutory audit?
Every company, private or public, needs one annually regardless of turnover. LLPs need one above ₹40 lakh turnover or ₹25 lakh contribution. Proprietors and partnerships may still need a tax audit on turnover grounds.
What is the turnover limit for a tax audit under 44AB?
₹1 crore for business (₹10 crore if 95%+ of transactions are digital) and ₹75 lakh for professions. Presumptive taxpayers declaring lower profits are also pushed into a tax audit.
When is the audit due?
The tax-audit report is generally due by 30 September, with the return by 31 October. Company statutory audits align with your ROC and AGM calendar.
What is the penalty for skipping a required audit?
Under Section 271B, 0.5% of turnover up to ₹1,50,000, plus consequences for the company and its officers. An audit is far cheaper than the penalty.
